• The report indicates that this elite group controls more financial resources than 77 percent of the entire population, with the top 1 percent capturing nearly two-fifths of all newly created wealth between 2019 and 2023.
• Oxfam Kenya, responsible for the report, highlighted that CEOs of Kenya's 10 largest companies earn 214 times more than the average teacher.
