• The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will utilize the 2022 voter register and deploy four voter identification methods, including activated facial recognition technology as a backup to fingerprints.
• Returning Officer Denis Omari confirmed that only voters identified by KIEMS (Kenya Integrated Elections Management System) devices will be permitted to vote, emphasizing commitment to electoral integrity.
