Rigathi Gachagua's Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) secured three county assembly seats in the November 27 by-elections, a significant achievement for the party launched just six months prior. The wins came in Kariobangi North, Narok Town, and Kisa East Wards.

• DCP candidates David Warui, Aduda Okwiri, and Douglas Masikonde won in their respective wards.
• In Narok Town Ward, Masikonde won with 6,007 votes, despite claims by Gachagua of intimidation and attempts to disrupt his campaign.
• Gachagua alleged government interference, including being teargassed and facing armed youth during campaigns, and later accusing authorities of attempting to torch ballot boxes after the results.
