President William Ruto attended the wedding of Mohammed Noordin Mohamed Y. Haji, son of National Intelligence Service (NIS) Director General Noordin Haji. The ceremony took place on Saturday, November 29, in Masalani, Ijara Constituency, also referred to as Msalani town, Garissa County. The new leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party, Oburu Oginga, also made his first public appearance since returning from Dubai at the same wedding.
