President William Ruto presided over the graduation of 5,892 chiefs and assistant chiefs after they completed an intensive induction, paralegal, and security management course at the National Police College, Embakasi ‘A’ Campus, on December 1.

• 5,892 chiefs and assistant chiefs graduated after undergoing a rigorous paramilitary program to strengthen grassroots administration.
• Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen emphasized that well-equipped chiefs are central to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
• The revamped course, aligned with the Jukwaa La Usalama initiative, aims to enhance public order and community security, preparing officers for challenges like gender-based violence, drug abuse, and terrorism.
