The Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET), in partnership with Huawei Technologies Kenya, announced the completion of the second phase of a national "Train the Trainer" program, equipping 65 TVET lecturers with advanced Artificial Intelligence and ICT skills.
- A total of 65 TVET lecturers completed the 15-day intensive program focusing on advanced AI, Data Communication, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.
- The partnership, ongoing since 2021, has led to 11 Huawei ICT Academies in Kenya, with KSTVET recognized as the designated Academy Support Centre.
- The program aligns with the government’s Dual TVET model and aims to expand to 150 TVET institutions, targeting 10,000 beneficiaries over the next three years.
