YouTube has officially launched its new "YouTube Recap" feature, offering users personalized summaries of their 2025 viewing habits. Rolled out in North America on December 2, 2025, and going global this week, it directly competes with Spotify Wrapped.

• The feature generates up to 12 personalized cards detailing top channels, viewing trends, and assigns users one of eight personality types based on their watch history.
• Recap can be accessed via youtube.com/recap, the homepage, or the "You" tab in the YouTube app on mobile and desktop.
• YouTube Recap is separate from YouTube Music Recap and is reportedly unavailable for children or supervised accounts, according to CNET.
