Samsung Electronics has unveiled its first triple-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, entering the market segment with a competitive price point of approximately $2,500 (around KES 330,000 excluding taxes) and promising global availability with full Android support.

• The Galaxy Z TriFold features a unique inward-folding "gatefold" design, protecting its massive 10.0-inch main display when closed.
• Launch sales begin in South Korea on December 12, 2025, with a global rollout expected in Q1 2026.
• The device boasts a Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, a 5,600mAh battery, 200MP main camera, and includes a 45W Charger and protective case in the box.
• It offers Standalone Samsung DeX functionality, allowing it to function as a desktop environment, and is water-resistant with an IP48 rating but notably lacks S-Pen support and is not dust-tight.
