The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has ordered the immediate closure of eight entertainment establishments in Nairobi and on the Coast due to repeated violations of noise pollution regulations. This action follows continuous public complaints and the facilities' failure to comply with earlier environmental restoration orders issued after a public notice on September 18, 2025.

• Eight establishments have been ordered to close, including Kettle House and Boba Drinks and Café in Kilimani.
