The Social Health Authority (SHA) has issued a warning about fraudsters impersonating the authority and demanding payments from Health Care Providers (HCPs) during the signing of the Public Officers Medical Scheme Fund (POMSF) addendum.

• SHA Chief Executive Officer Mercy Mwangangi stated that the authority does NOT charge any fees for signing or processing the addendum.
• HCPs are urged to ignore such demands and verify claims through SHA's official channels, including the toll-free number 0800720601.
• POMSF is a fund providing supplementary medical coverage for approximately 140,000 public servants, complementing the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF).
