Kenya and Germany are exploring new partnerships in aerospace and space development following high-level discussions at a joint NewSpace Business Forum in Nairobi on Tuesday. The forum brought together a German NewSpace delegation with Kenyan officials and industry leaders to discuss collaboration opportunities.

• The German delegation included officials from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and the German Aerospace Industries Association.
• Key Kenyan participants were Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey, Director General of the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), and Teresia Mbaika, Principal Secretary for Aviation and Aerospace Development.
• Potential collaboration areas include advanced technologies, commercial space ventures, joint research, skills development, and sector investment, aiming to accelerate Kenya's space ambitions and unlock new economic opportunities.
