Three individuals, Harish Ramji, Ashvin Ramji, and Bharat Ramji, have been arrested by DCI detectives in connection with a fraudulent transfer of NSSF land valued at approximately Ksh.350 million. The suspects are accused of illegally acquiring a 3.043-hectare parcel in Athi River, Machakos County, through falsified documents dating back to 2010.

• The DCI investigated a complaint filed by NSSF on September 2, 2025, regarding a title deed unlawfully obtained by the suspects.
• Detectives traced a 15-year paper trail, uncovering a fraudulent transfer document from May 27, 2010, bearing forged signatures of the NSSF Board of Trustees.
• The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has approved charges including conspiracy to defraud, making a false document, obtaining registration by false pretenses, and forgery.
• The arrested suspects are in custody pending arraignment, and the hunt for additional accomplices is ongoing.
