Gunmen attacked an illegal shebeen within a hostel in Pretoria, South Africa, early Saturday morning, killing 11 people, including a three-year-old child. This incident is the latest in a series of mass shootings plaguing South Africa, which has one of the world's highest murder rates.

25 individuals were shot, with 10 dying at the scene and an additional 1 at the hospital.
Police spokeswoman Athlenda Mathe confirmed the details, noting 14 people were hospitalized.
The attack occurred around 4:30 AM (0230 GMT) in the Saulsville township, approximately 18 kilometers (11 miles) west of Pretoria. A 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old female were also among the deceased.
Police are investigating the motive and are currently conducting a manhunt for the three gunmen, with no arrests yet made.
