CCTV footage has revealed the last moments of 12-year-old Patience Mumbe before she was found murdered on Saturday, December 6, in Nairobi's Embakasi KAA estate. Detectives are investigating the homicide, which included signs of a brutal attack.

• Patience Mumbe, a Grade 7 pupil, was last seen on CCTV running and then walking hurriedly towards the Taj Mall matatu terminus in Pipeline Estate.
• Her body was discovered less than 48 hours later, with her hands and legs bound and bleeding on her face and private areas.
• This is the fourth child kidnapping incident in the Embakasi area in under a month, raising concerns among residents.
