Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has publicly challenged President William Ruto's vision for Kenya to become an economic powerhouse like Singapore, stating such progress is unattainable amidst what he termed chaos, impunity, and poor governance. Speaking at the launch of the Okoa Uchumi report, Musyoka contrasted Singapore's disciplined development with Kenya's current economic management.

• Musyoka warned against the unconstitutional sale of critical national infrastructure, including Safaricom, Kenya Pipeline Company, and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
• He announced that the Opposition has assembled a team of 100 advocates to challenge any attempt to sell Safaricom shares without public participation.
• President Ruto, in his November 20 State of the Nation Address, had advocated for Kenya to emulate the economic rise of Asian Tigers such as Singapore.
