Lilian Njeri, 34, was sick and allegedly locked in an office by her boss in Oman shortly after arriving on November 7, 2025.
The Ombudsman’s office intervened after Dennis Kariuki Muthii and Njeri’s sister, Freshia Njoki, brought the matter to their attention.
Njeri’s boss had reportedly demanded over Ksh. 600,000 for her return to Kenya.
