Investing in Innovation Africa (i3) announced three significant healthtech partnerships at its third Access to Markets (A2M) event, aiming to improve healthcare access and strengthen systems across Africa.

• These partnerships are expected to generate over $20 million in potential value.
• One key collaboration is between MSD and MYDAWA, focusing on expanding concierge health services with an emphasis on cervical cancer elimination.
• Another partnership involves Nigeria's National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), the Presidential Initiative for Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC), and Sproxil, to enhance malaria diagnosis and treatment access.
• Boehringer Ingelheim also highlighted new investments from its Social Engagement Fund, backing three startups: Dawa Mkononi, Kasha, and Reach52, to advance pharmacy access across Africa.
• The A2M event featured 15 African healthtech startups whose products are already utilized by more than 66,000 healthcare providers across 12 countries.
