Kenya has launched the National Plastics Action Partnership (NPAP Kenya), a collaborative platform to advance a circular plastics economy and green industrialization. This initiative, signed with the World Economic Forum’s Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP), aims to tackle plastic pollution while fostering sustainable economic growth.
- The Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs Dr. Korir Sing’Oei signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Kenya.
- NPAP Kenya is a multi-stakeholder platform involving government agencies, private sector leaders, civil society organisations, academic institutions, innovators, and development partners.
