• The program will equip youth with skills for areas like franchising, ticketing, and hotel reservations, with trainers committing to mentorship.
• 70 percent of Kenya's tourism workforce is comprised of youth, underscoring the importance of such training.
• The Jamhuri Week theme for the day was Capacity Building, Research & Innovation for the Tourism, Wildlife & MICE Sector, with President William Ruto expected to launch key sector documents and a new Magical Kenya campaign.
