A London court has jailed two men, Charlie Johnson and Prince Singh, for encouraging "vulnerable" teenage girls to self-harm, marking one of the UK's first such convictions under the Online Safety Act 2023.

• Johnson received a sentence of four years in prison, while Singh was sentenced to two years and nine months.
• The victims, aged 16 and 17, were encouraged to carve the men's names into themselves, with images shared on Discord.
• Both men were also convicted of taking and distributing indecent photographs of a child, and the case was described as "quite a novel case" by Judge Ruth Downing.
