The Kenyan government has launched the Huduma Mashinani initiative in Nyakach Sub-County, Kisumu County, to provide essential public services directly to remote communities. This outreach program aims to bridge service delivery gaps and ensure equitable access for all citizens.

• Over 20 different services, including birth certificates, national IDs, and medical services, were offered to residents.
• Initialised in December 2024 by Attorney General Dorcas Oduor, SC, in collaboration with senior government officials.
• The program aligns with President William Ruto's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda and has already been rolled out in several regions including Muhoroni and Alego Usonga.
