The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has issued a warning to schools against circulating misleading or inaccurate analyses of the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) results. KNEC clarified that the KJSEA, unlike previous exam systems, does not provide an aggregate score, overall total, or school mean score, as performance is assessed independently by subject under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
