The UK and South Korea have finalized a new trade deal aiming to boost various exports, including luxury Bentley cars and Scottish salmon, and to secure existing tariff-free trade between the two nations.

• 98% of trade between the UK and South Korea will continue to be tariff-free under the new agreement.
• The deal protects £2 billion of UK exports from increased tariffs which were set to expire in January 2026.
• The deal is the fourth trade agreement struck since Labour took office, following deals with the EU, the US, and India, though parts of the US deal have reportedly stalled.
