A Kenyan man serving in the U.S. military has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for killing his wife during a domestic dispute. He pleaded guilty on December 12 to murdering his wife, who was also a service member, following an argument at their home in Killeen, Texas.

• The 53-year-old man shot his wife multiple times during an argument on February 21, 2025.
• He informed his brother about the shooting, who then notified authorities, leading to the discovery of the victim's body by Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division investigators.
• The suspect, a military aircraft structural repairer, will serve his sentence at the United States Disciplinary Barracks, Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
