Kenyan middle-distance runner Emmanuel Kiprop Kipruto has been indefinitely suspended by the World Athletics Representatives Panel, effective December 20, for non-compliance with a panel order related to a contractual dispute with a Japanese club.

• The suspension will remain until Kipropto provides all contractual documentation, a breakdown of his earnings, and reimburses expenses paid by his representative.
• Kipropto's personal best in the 1500 meters is 3 minutes 38.38 seconds, recorded in Nairobi on January 5, 2024.
• Kipropto joins a list of other Kenyan athletes suspended this year, including Ruth Chepngetich for a doping violation in July.
