• The legal dispute arose from a December 16 episode of "The Obinna Show," where a guest accused Ombeta and Omari of prioritizing publicity and involvement in judicial graft.
• Ombeta and Omari filed a cyber-misuse complaint with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), which could have led to Obinna's immediate apprehension.
• During a reconciliation meeting, Cliff Ombeta confirmed the legal team has withdrawn the case and will not seek damages, following an apology from the guest.
• As part of the settlement, Ombeta advised Obinna to exercise better editorial control over his guests to prevent future defamatory remarks.
