• Siaya Governor James Orengo and Roots Party Leader George Wajackoyah accompanied Wetang'ula to Jirongo’s home in Lumakanda, Lugari Constituency.
• Orengo and Wajackoyah have called on the government to provide answers regarding the "mysterious" circumstances of Jirongo’s death, with Orengo claiming Jirongo was an "enemy of the state."
• Jirongo will be laid to rest on December 30 at his rural home in Lumakanda, Lugari Constituency.
