A tragic incident in Lelkatet area, Bomet County, has resulted in the deaths of two teenage cousins who allegedly ingested a poisonous substance. The boys were found in a room after consuming the unknown substance.

• Elisha Kibet, 14, and Amos Kiprono, 15, were the victims.
• One victim was pronounced dead on arrival at Longisa Referral Hospital, while the other succumbed during treatment.
• Bomet East Sub-County Police Commander Michael Singa confirmed police are investigating the incident to determine the substance and motive.
