Five Kenyans have been appointed to various leadership positions within the World English Scrabble Players Association (WESPA), following Kenya's strong third-place performance in recent international competitions. This recognition highlights the growing influence of Kenyan Scrabble on the global stage.

• A total of five Kenyans received appointments to WESPA committees.
• Limo Kipkemboi, Scrabble Kenya president, will serve on the Youth Scrabble Sub-Committee.
• Muema Muumbi will chair the Rules Committee and serve on the Membership Affairs Committee; fellow Kenyan Chrispine Kennedy is also on the Rules Committee.
• Daniel Machanje was appointed to the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, and Powell Cheruiyot to the Virtual Scrabble Committee.
