A man, identified as Silah Ouma Abongo, has been arrested in Kilimani, Nairobi, for allegedly impersonating a military officer using a stolen identification card. He was caught trying to fraudulently obtain subsidized goods from military facilities.

The suspect was arrested along KMC Landis Road on Friday.
He was found in possession of a military ID belonging to active service officer Edwin Chetty Atsango.
Abongo was reportedly using the stolen ID to access subsidized goods from the Armed Forces Canteen Organisation (AFCO).
The arrest was made by military officers Sergeant Purity Chelagat, Sergeant Cliffton, and Senior Private Kevin Odero.
Kilimani police command stated he will be charged with impersonation and fraud.
