The Standard Group PLC has partnered with the Kenya Lioness Rally Team, an all-women motorsport team, to boost female participation and visibility in rallying for the 2026 calendar. This sponsorship will support both competitive and community initiatives, beginning with a special women-only rally drive called "Heels on Wheels."

The partnership was unveiled at the Standard Group PLC offices and involves Lioness Rally co-founder Lisa Christoffersen and co-driver Christabel Wacuka.
The "Heels on Wheels" drive is scheduled for March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day, starting at the Karen Blixen Museum and concluding in Muthaiga, Nairobi.
The Lioness Rally Team will compete in the 2026 WRC Safari Rally, taking place in Naivasha from March 12-15.
The team also plans to establish Lioness Safari Clubs to train and mentor young women interested in motorsport.
