Fresh internal tensions have erupted within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), following accusations between Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed concerning the 2022 General Election and the party's future. The public clash involves allegations of hidden plots and mishandling of campaign funds, drawing former President Uhuru Kenyatta into the dispute.

• Sifuna accused senior party figures, including Junet, of benefiting from Uhuru Kenyatta's support without contributing funds to the party's ground efforts in 2022.
• Junet countered by accusing Sifuna of "moonlighting" for Uhuru Kenyatta and alleged that Uhuru released election agent funds to his brother, Muhoho Kenyatta, who then appointed Patrick Mburu to oversee recruitment and payments.
• Junet claimed that agent operations were run from a secretive Westlands office, and no agents were procured for Raila Odinga in regions like Mt Kenya and Luo Nyanza.
