Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has ordered the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) to investigate medical professionals who claimed to perform "miracle healing" during a recent religious crusade. Duale warned that such unverified assertions threaten public health and safety, emphasizing that healthcare must remain grounded in science and evidence-based medicine.

• KMPDC confirmed it was investigating "claims of faith-based healing for serious medical conditions, including HIV/AIDS, cancer, blindness, deafness, muteness and physical disabilities."
• The CS stated that KMPDC must obtain "full clinical documentation and scientific proof" from the accused practitioners.
• Failure to comply could lead to "serious disciplinary action, including possible suspension or revocation of licenses for professional misconduct and violation of medical ethics."
