Zanzibar will host the Blue Voices Regional Summit 2026 from January 26–28, bringing together delegations from Kenya, Mauritius, Tanzania, and Zanzibar to combat escalating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the South West Indian Ocean. This summit aims to strengthen regional coordination, information sharing, and regulations to safeguard the ocean's resources.
