Samsung is introducing a new AI-powered feature in its upcoming One UI 8.5 update that reminds users to contact family members if there's been a long period of no communication.

• The feature, called "Now Brief," displays a card titled "Say hello to your family" and notes the duration since the last contact, such as 26 days or 22 days.
• The reminders offer quick shortcuts to call the family member or a "Not now" option.
• Other features in the One UI 8.5 beta include a torch indicator, an ad-block toggle, and upgraded power-saving functionality.
