The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has announced a record-breaking financial year for 2024/2025, recovering Ksh3.4 billion in stolen assets and preventing the loss of an additional Ksh16.5 billion in public funds.

The EACC identified Ksh22.9 billion in illegally acquired and unexplained assets, significantly increasing asset recovery efforts.
The Commission's Report details handling 4,183 complaints, with 1,846 leading to investigations, a 44.1% rise from the previous year.
Under Chairperson Dr. David Oginde and Secretary/CEO Abdi A. Mohamud, the EACC concluded 175 investigations, submitting files to the ODPP, and disrupted 14 planned corruption deals.
