✨ Key Highlights

President William Ruto is scheduled to launch the second phase of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Project in Eldoret today, which aims to empower youth in entrepreneurship. This event will also see the disbursement of funds to successful young beneficiaries.

Approximately 50,000 beneficiaries will receive Ksh. 22,000 deposited into their NYOTA mobile wallets, with an additional Kshs. 3,000 allocated to their NSSF savings account.
The project is spearheaded by the Ministry of Cooperatives.
Disbursements will take place in Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Trans-Nzoia, Turkana, and West Pokot counties today, with further events in Nakuru on January 9 and 12 for other counties.
