The suspects allegedly demanded hefty payments for forged appointment letters promising permanent employment.

Over Ksh.40 million was defrauded from victims through fake TSC recruitment letters.
The TSC Director for Konoin Sub-County, David Kemei, was among the four suspects arrested, alongside Rosebella Chepkemoi Korir, an ex-Bomet County Woman Representative aspirant, and two teachers.
The fraud network is believed to extend beyond Bomet County to Kericho, Narok, Kisii, and Nyamira counties.
