Oburu Odinga, leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, has challenged his detractors to formally question his leadership at the upcoming National Delegates Conference (NDC), which he plans to convene soon. This comes after a splinter group, including Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and Babu Owino, met to discuss party leadership, with Owino expressing his desire to take over.

• Oburu Odinga stated he has chaired all negotiations with President William Ruto's administration, including those that led to cabinet appointments for Opiyo Wandayi, John Mbadi, and Hassan Joho.
• The party plans to form a negotiation team this year to discuss renewing its partnership with the current administration, with Oburu indicating a tough negotiation ahead.
