• She asserted her position as the undisputed leader of UDA in Kirinyaga, dismissing rival claims and stating the polls would clarify the true leadership.
• The Governor also framed the elections as crucial for consolidating UDA's influence in the Mt. Kenya region and securing President William Ruto's re-election in 2027 for a second term.
• Over 20 Members of the County Assembly attended the meeting, pledging their support for Waiguru and President Ruto.
