The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced the recommencement of Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in specific constituencies across Kenya, starting on Monday, January 12, 2026, in preparation for the 2027 General Elections.

• The CVR resumption affects areas where the process was temporarily halted to facilitate November 27, 2025, by-elections.
• A total of 24 constituencies are impacted, ranging from Magarini to Embakasi North.
• Eligible citizens can register or update their information at constituency registration centers using national identity cards, from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
• CVR and voter roll revision will remain suspended in Mbeere North and Malava Constituencies due to ongoing election petitions, including a challenge against MP Leo Wamuthende's victory in Mbeere North.
