Opposition leaders in Kenya are renewing calls for the removal of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) CEO Hussein Marjan Hussein and an overhaul of election technology, ahead of the 2027 General Election. They expressed a lack of confidence in both Marjan and the election technology contract awarded to Smartmatic Technology Company, alleging mishandling of the last General Election.
