A tragic accident on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway near Naivasha town has claimed the lives of nine people, including two minors, after a bus collided with a Nissan Matatu.

• Nine people died in the collision, with six pronounced dead at the scene.
• The incident occurred at approximately 1 am near Kayole estate, ten kilometres from Naivasha town.
• A passenger reported the matatu driver was speeding and overtaking at the time of the crash.
