Three traffic police officers, Corporals Lucy Ekwam Nabun, David Gitonga Gikunda, and Herman Echakara, were arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for alleged bribery at a roadblock on the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway.

• The officers are attached to the Kyumbi Traffic Police Base in Machakos County.
• One officer evaded arrest with efforts ongoing to apprehend them.
• The EACC urged the public to report incidents of bribery to uphold ethical standards and public trust.
