Two brothers, Josphat Munke Ole Mpoe and Joseph Kakore Ole Mpoe, have been charged with fraudulently acquiring Sh5 billion worth of land in Mau Narok, Njoro Sub-County. They pleaded not guilty and were released on bond.

• The land in question spans 4,296 acres and was allegedly claimed using a forged Title Grant.
• Detectives from the Land Fraud Investigations Unit (LFIU) confirmed the documents were fraudulent.
• The brothers, former farm managers on the property, obtained Limited Grant Letters of Administration from the High Court in Nakuru on March 23, 2023, under false pretenses.
