President William Ruto has urged politicians to cease inciting youth to violence and instead focus on empowerment. He made these remarks while launching a Ksh.103.9 million business start-up capital disbursement for 4,159 young entrepreneurs across several counties.

• The NYOTA Business Support Programme aims to benefit 100,000 young people nationwide.
• The construction of the Ksh.260 million Rumuruti Modern Market in Laikipia County, designed to host 750 traders, was also launched.
