Wholesale price index (WPI) increased primarily due to higher prices in other manufacturing, minerals, manufacture of machinery and equipment, manufacture of food products, and textiles.
WPI Food inflation increased to a flatline in December 2025, compared to -2.60 percent in November 2025.
The index for fuel and power group increased by 1.23 percent from 146.5 in November 2025 to 148.3 in December 2025.
