A family in Kuresoi, Nakuru County, is seeking justice after their mentally challenged daughter was allegedly defiled by an employee of a senior government official in the South Rift region.

• The victim was in Grade Six when the abuse occurred and has not received support.
• Nyumba Kumi elder Boniface Rono reported that the family has faced threats from the alleged perpetrator.
• The girl's mother states her daughter is traumatized, no longer attending school, and has had a baby.
