The Kenyan government has introduced new measures to enhance the protection of its citizens in Saudi Arabia, launching a 24-hour toll-free emergency hotline. This initiative by the Kenya Consulate in Jeddah aims to provide immediate consular support to Kenyans facing distress.

The new hotline number is 8001000352, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs confirmed the hotline will assist with issues such as labour disputes, arrest, abuse, health crises, or loss of travel documents.
This move follows cases of mistreatment and aligns with Kenya’s bilateral labour agreements with Saudi Arabia.
