East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has announced that its Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, Risper Ohaga, will depart the company on June 30, 2026. Ohaga is leaving to pursue other career opportunities, concluding her tenure which began in 2020.

• EABL reported a net profit of Sh12.2 billion for the financial year ended June 30, 2025, a 12 percent increase.
• Ohaga's departure follows Diageo's sale of its 65 percent majority stake in EABL to Japan's Asahi Group Holdings for approximately Sh296.5 billion.
• During her tenure, Ohaga was instrumental in EABL's financial leadership, balance sheet optimization, and strengthening governance, with the finance function receiving multiple financial reporting awards.
